I am way behind in the picture postings of James and Maggie...so, here is a picture post! Enjoy!
I do not know enough WORDS to express my thanks to Helen for hosting such a great Give-A-Way (during the MoMs Blog End of Summer Blog Party) and to Hillary the FABULOUS designer! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new look! And I am sure many of you would like to send Hillary flowers (because she had to put up with me...haha...no-seriously, that was meant to be funny). I only made a few changes (wink, wink). This make-over was a lot of fun and I am so pleased with the out come!!!
James and Maggie are officially thirteen months old. We decided to take their picture outside and Franklin (AKA Licky) behaved well enough to be in the photos. He was so good with James and Maggie...I think he really enjoyed getting to be near them without getting in trouble.
Keith loves to aggravate Franklin, by making him "Ride the Horse". Kids love this game; however, dogs don't understand and tend to be a little shamed (or at least Franklin looks shamed). Well, James has watched Franklin and even participated enough...that now he can "Ride the Horse" all by himself. We had never seen this until Tuesday...ENJOY!
James and Maggie have not been feeling the best the past couple of days...but after a trip to the Dr (for James), medicine for both (James a cough and Maggie a fever) and a lazy day in our pajama's we are on the mend!
Remembering those that lost their lives 8 years ago...Praying for a country that needs God more than anything right now...Hoping to be what God wants me to be in the time He provides!!!
Today our Papa came for a play day! Play day is when Papa comes to our house with MiMi and we do all sorts of fun things. We get dressed up and take pictures, participate in a home movie, play with all of our toys, and pretty much wear Papa out, so much that he takes a nap when we do. We love to spend the day with MiMi but with Papa it is twice as fun! Mama and Dada are still taking bets as to who really has more fun...MiMi & Papa or James & Maggie!
So, as the comments were rolling in, I noticed some people liked the bag and some liked the cups and everyone LOVED the books...what is a girl to do? Well, I decided to split the pot...I will have TWO winners...one for the Bag and two books and one for the Sippy Cups and two books.

Today was Baby Davis' 1st Birthday Party!!! He is three weeks to the day behind James and Maggie...but you wouldn't know it to look at him! He will be a Defensive Tackle in 17 years...
He was not real sure about James and Maggie; he is not accustomed to being at eye level with others (his sisters are all older)! James and Maggie were both smitten with their friend...they both gave him Birthday kisses and he tried to run away! Total cuteness overload!
