James and Maggie have officially been given the mobile ability...but let's hope they chose to stay stationary for a little while longer. Nanny and Paw Paw gave them both activity WALKERS! We are so very excited to have one (two) more item for them to play with, but this is just one step closer to them walking. They are so cute playing in them...
James actually attempted to roll, but could only go forward and backward...not really walking more like rocking, but he definitely thought he was hot stuff!!!

Cereal and Carrots and Green Beans...OH MY!!
Happy New Year to ALL! We all successfully made it into the New Year...and at 12:02 we were asleep. Okay...James and Maggie slept through the New Year but were rearing to go the next morning. James officially had two teeth when the New Year came through...as I mentioned before, he got his first tooth on CHRISTmas Day and his second on New Year's Eve.
*I am still trying to get a picture of both teeth, but with his hand and feet in his mouth at all times, the picture is a bit difficult to get. Promise it is coming.
Maggie is still toothless...but they have to be coming, because her mouth has become a faucet. I am worried that she is going to "melt". You that is what happens to sweet things around water...I had that problem at one time, now I just clump. Maybe I need to take sweetness lessons from Maggie...
Now, mama's favorite subject...FOOD! James and Maggie are officially eating food. We started eating cereal from a spoon at 3 months...and have now moved up to carrots and green beans. I am not real big on store bought baby food...so, we make our own. We cooked carrots and pureed them, and then it was off to the races. James and Maggie were not sure about carrots at first, but after bite #2, they were sold! We successfully ate carrots for 4 days before moving on to green beans. The green beans were a hit from the first bite. I really hope we have good eaters, and from the looks of mama and dada...we have nothing to worry about. : ) This weekend we hope to prepare some squash and sweet potatoes...Yum-O!!!
