These are the Birthday Plates I painted for James and Maggie. My hope is for them to use these plates for their own Birthday Cake each year! So, what do you think??? I was going for a look they wouldn't "grow" out of...did I hit the bulls eye or fall short of the target?

New Meaning to the Phrase..."Kiddie Pool"!

We had several friends over for the Annual 4th of July party. This year was full of good food, good times and LOTS of kiddos! I hope this tradition continues for many years to come!

I was discussing with Keith how our "group" has changed over the years: LB was born in 2002, she was the first kid! Then in 2005 we added a set of twin girls: KG & KR. In 2007, we added a Boy..."G". So, our total if kids to this point is 4...here is where you might need a calculator. In 2008, we added 3 more boys and 1 more girl (this includes a second set of twins)! Can you believe we went from 4 kiddos to 8 kiddos in one year! We are so blessed!

Fun Filled Fourth!!!

We visited Nanny and Paw Paw for the 4th! Lots of fun and Great Food! Bar-B-Que chicken, ribs, baked beans, potato salad, cole slaw, and bread! Yummy in the Tummy! We also found them High Chairs that were table height! These high chairs also convert to a rocking chair and desk...three in one and all hand made!

I can remember (I think I was a teenager) being on Dauphin Island for Fireworks on the Water! Amazing...the colors the sounds all magnified by the Gulf! Nice Breeze, sound of the waves, big kabooms...the perfect way to spend the 4th!!

These are our Magic Shoes!!

These are James and Maggie's new shoes. They are still getting accustomed to wearing shoes; hopefully after a few days they will be a little more comfortable in them. For now I think they are adorable!

will learn how to do the dishes...early!

This morning Maggie's hair was a mess to no avail...



so, we tried a cute little Pony Tail!

They just bring a smile to my face when I get to spend extra time with them in the morning. We get the day started on the right foot!
