They are not...but we are hosting a One and the Same book giveaway!!!! Please leave comments, or we might just have to remain blah!! It's a great book...don't you want to read it?? I know I do... (this photo was taken at a charity basketball game...they are not sad, they just wanted out of the stroller, so they could run and play)
I am truly honored to be hosting a One and the Same: My Life as an Identical Twin and What I've Learned About Everyone's Struggle to Be Singular book give-away!!! The winner will receive an autographed copy of Abigail Pogrebin's newest book.
Abigail contacted me a few weeks ago and had this great idea to do a giveaway...I was super excited and immediately replied "sign me up"!!!!
Some of you know...J&M are technically our second set of twins...as we lost our first set very early on. We feel so blessed to be twin parents...considering both sets were spontaneous (God is so GOOD!). I am curious to read this book...as it will hopefully spark interesting thoughts as I raise my precious kiddos!
While researching Abigail Pogrebin and her newest book, I came across an interview she did with National Public Radio. This was very interesting to me to hear her discuss the book and its reviews. Also, as an avid Football Fan, I found a unique interview (and excerpt) with the NFL's most famous twins: Tiki and Ronde Barber. I truly hope you will enjoy reading this as much as I have enjoyed researching. This will be my next book to read and then maybe we can discuss...
We are officially 18 months old and we had Ke-ta (Uncle Keaton) over for our weekly family dinner! He is so much fun; he throws us around, let's us climb on him, and flips us this way and that!! We really love having him over to play and it made our 18 month day that much better!!!
I am not sure I could list all of the fun accomplishments they are both experiencing, but here are a few that stand out!
They are recognizing pictures and associating the word that matches, they ask for most things by name, they love MUSIC, they are really good eaters (including vegetables), they are consistent sleepers, they LOVE school, they can identify family members by name (we practice using their Photo Family Tree), Maggie is a climber and James is beginning to climb...By this he feels very accomplished!!! TA-DA!!!!
We go to the Doc on Monday...so, updated stats are soon to follow!
