Today was Baby Davis' 1st Birthday Party!!! He is three weeks to the day behind James and Maggie...but you wouldn't know it to look at him! He will be a Defensive Tackle in 17 years...
He was not real sure about James and Maggie; he is not accustomed to being at eye level with others (his sisters are all older)! James and Maggie were both smitten with their friend...they both gave him Birthday kisses and he tried to run away! Total cuteness overload!

Today is the big day over at Multiples and More!!! It is the 1st Annual End of Summer Blog Party!!! Today, I am attempting my first ever GIVE-A-WAY! I am so nervous...but enough about me...let's talk about the prizes!
There is The ABC's of It a great book for little ones learning their alphabet! It has pictures you can color (yes, you can have a blue crocodile if you so choose)and a wonderful rhyme for each letter!!
Two Sippy Cups with Silicone spouts...perfect for little hands and NO SPILL!! Love them!

This has been a busy week...Tuesday James and Maggie began Mother's Day Out (why is it called Mother's Day Out...I have to go to work, there is no OUT...it should be Kids Day IN!). It was good...great even...I did cry, but for those of you who know me, you are not shocked...you knew I would cry, so really, it is just confirmation to something you already knew.
James and Maggie had such a great day (I know because they wrote it on their "this is what we did today" notes). They ate a good lunch, played well, and napped well (but who wouldn't on those adorable Nap Mats...thanks again Wanda). We go back on Thursday...this is such a "Good Thing"!
Today was a big day, James and Maggie were "goin' North" according to Uncle Fontain! Off we went to Atlanta to visit my Aunt Sue, cousin Billy and his wife Nicole. This was James and Maggie's first trip outside Alabama; the rain made for not the best driving conditions, but we made it safe and sound...just in time for lunch.
Billy and Nicole brought their dogs (Bobby: a black daschund, Mac and Molly: golden retrievers). James and Maggie loved being around the dogs, and since there were no baby gates...their walking was put to the test and continue to improve.

Aunt Sue cooked a fabulous lunch (ham, homemade Mac & Cheese, green bean casserole) and she even made a birthday cake for James and Maggie! James and Maggie dove in "face first".
